Introducing a multidisciplinary special issue on the multilevel dynamics of UK’s exit from European Union (EU), this article considers social science ‘impact’ Brexit-related research, including Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) UK in Changing Europe initiative Governance after Brexit programme. The draws initiative’s Priority Grant programme, bringing together economists, political scientists, policy analysts socio-legal scholars. It analyses regional devolution-related dynamics. potential challenges cross-disciplinary work concludes with critical analysis Boris Johnson administration’s ‘levelling up agenda’ post-Brexit Covid/Covid-recovery context.
